How to get to Lagos?Arriving by car Renting a car is the most popular way to get to lagos and explore the region. I highly recommend renting a car. When making your rental car reservation remember to set Lisbon or Faro International Airport as your pick-up location. You can also rent a car in Lagos. Click HERE to visit the car rental website. Private transfer If you are planning your dream trip to Lagos during the peak season, it’s worth considering organising a private transfer before you arrive. Especially if landing late at night. Booking in advance can save you some money but expect to spend around €60 for Uber and €90 for taxi. Click HERE to explore your booking options. Bus From May to October there is an easy, direct bus option from Faro Airport to the downtown Terminal Rodovario in Lagos. Just a 5 minutes walk from 57 Bee Old Town and about 10 minutes from 57 Bee Marina de Lagos. Look out for Aerobus route 56, the journey takes two hours and costs a reasonable €12. It typically operates from 8.30am to 8pm. Click HERE to see the timetable and HERE to book your bus tickets online. Train from Downtown Faro to Lagos Catching a train is a great option if the high season Aerobus isn’t operating. You will need to find your way to the Faro City train station, about 10 minute drive from the airport. The train ride from Faro to Lagos takes just over 1.5 hours and costs under €10. The train station is behind the Marina de Lagos. It takes about 5 minutes to walk to 57 Bee Marina and about 15 minutes to 57 Bee Old Town. Book a ticket HERE
